This drawing is as much sketch as it is visual design. I really like how the three drawings look together. As I was drawing the sign, I realized that the spelling of MOTR is not just a take on the word ‘motor,’ since it also includes “OTR”. This will be featured in my upcoming Over-the-Rhine book, expected ready by Memorial Day.
This print is on high quality pure cellulose watercolor paper with bright whites and a distinct, coarsely textured surface. Paper made by Hahnemuhle.
